The WR07 occurrence is located on a ridge in the south eastern headwaters of Windy Creek, approximately 9 kilometres east-northeast of English Lake.

The area is underlain by volcaniclastic rocks of the Lower Jurassic Nicola Group and syenite stocks of the Triassic to Jurassic Friendly Lake Intrusive Complex.

Locally, hornfelsed and brecciated volcanics (Nicola Group) are cut by thin, 1 to 3 centimetre wide, coarse grained mafic-feldspar dikes with disseminated pyrite and clots of magnetite, chalcopyrite and sphalerite mineralization.

In 2007, a grab sample (RSFL-05) assayed 1.13 per cent copper, 2.31 per cent zinc and 24.8 grams per tonne silver (Assessment Report 29582).

In 2007 through 2012, Electrum Resource, completed programs of rock and soil sampling and a ground magnetic survey on the area as a part of the Friendly Lake property. Previous exploration in the area was centered on the Bogg (MINFILE 092P 007) occurrence.
